Here are some tricks to bypass rapdishare..

A. Request new IP address from ISP (for dynamic IP address Internet users only)

1. Click Start -> Run
2. Type cmd in the Open box, then click OK.
3. At the command prompt, run the following commands one by one:
   ipconfig /flushdns
   ipconfig /release
   ipconfig /renew
   exit
4. Try to download from RapidShare again.

B. Use a proxy server, or a different proxy server

You can get a list of available public proxy server easily by searching “proxy server” in search engine such as Google or Yahoo!. Choose a proxy server and note down its IP address and port number.

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings. Select (check) the option of Use a proxy server for your LAN. Then key in the proxy server IP address and port in respective box. Click OK to continue.

In Mozilla Firefox, go to Tools -> Options -> Connection Settings. Then select (click) Manual proxy configuration and key in proxy server information. Click OK to continue.

Obviously, once you hit the download limit, you will need to change the proxy server again. There are tools that help you to switch the proxy server automatically. In Internet Explorer, try Steganos Internet Anonym 2006 from Steganos or Hide IP from V7soft. In Firefox, use the SwitchProxy extension. Both software allow you to change the proxy server easily, with just few clicks.

NOTE:

Make sure clear all history/cache/cookies then download the file that you want..

How to detect Invicible users in Yahoo Messenger?

1. See the main window of Yahoo! Messenger. An “offline” or “invisible” user will show a gray icon on the left of the username. Double-click on the username to open this window.

2. Click on “Voice” icon on the toolbar, or select “Contact” menu and select “Enable Voice Chat“

If the user is offline, you will get this message

4. But if the user is invisible (actually online), you will see the Voice Toolbar (marked red in the picture) like this:

Cyber attack on Pentagon e-mail

A hacker has managed to penetrate one of the Pentagon’s e-mail systems, leading officials to take up to 1,500 accounts offline.

The e-mail system did not contain classified information relating to military operations, a spokesman said.

The Pentagon says it rebuffs hundreds of attempted attacks on its computer systems each day.

US Defence Secretary Robert Gates said that a “variety of precautionary measures” were being taken.

“Elements of the… unclassified email system were taken offline yesterday afternoon due to a detected penetration,” Mr Gates said.

He said it was expected that the system would be online again very soon.

Few details were available about the exact nature of the attack.

A Pentagon spokesman said attacks could come from a variety of sources including: “recreational hackers, self-styled cyber-vigilantes, various groups with nationalistic and ideological agendas, trans-national actors and nation-states.”

Officials would not say whether the hacker was able to read e-mails sent on the system.

Asked if his own e-mail account was affected, Mr Gates said: “I don’t do e-mail. I’m a low-tech person.”
